Algis Kriščiūnas (Original Painting)

Algis Kriščiūnas is a multifaceted Lithuanian artist born in 1968 in Vilnius. Initially studying Robotics at Kaunas University of Technology, he later shifted his focus to visual arts, developing a distinctive style in photography.

His surreal images have graced magazine covers and advertisements both in Lithuania and internationally. Since 2011, Kriščiūnas has lived in Fuerteventura, focusing on painting and exhibiting his work globally.

His painting Red Ship was acquired by the National Collection of Ireland in 2015. Each summer since 2016, his latest works are showcased at the Algis Kriščiūnas Paintings Gallery in Palanga, Lithuania.

In 2023, he launched “Dreaming of Life,” a music-visual project with composer Darius Žičkus. His 2024 virtual reality film “Playing Life,” based on his paintings, was selected for the Venice Film Festival. Kriščiūnas is known for his prolific output, adding at least 50 new works to his collection annually.
