Mac Cauley

Mac Cauley is a Seattle-based visual artist who seamlessly blends traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology across films, games, interactive toys, and immersive experiences. He excels at leading creative teams and collaborating with both artistic and technical professionals to bridge the worlds of art and code. His latest VR project, The Night Café: A VR Tribute to Van Gogh, earned Platinum and Community Choice awards at the Oculus Mobile Jam and Best Immersive at the Cinequest Film & VR Festival.

With roots in stop-motion animation using toys and clay, Mac evolved through hand-drawn techniques into digital and interactive media. His professional credits include building large-scale interactive experiences for Audience Entertainment, producing next-generation metaverse concerts at Wave XR, and contributing new features to Pokémon GO at Niantic. He holds degrees in film, animation, and interactive media from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and in live-action directing from the AFI Conservatory.
