Marek Slipek

Marek Slipek is a German designer and digital artist of Polish descent, based in Ludwigshafen. His multidisciplinary work spans creative coding, fulldome films, art installations, and electronic music performances, all unified by recurring themes of light and rhythm.

Slipek investigates structural patterns and hierarchies through generative processes in space and time. With a strong background in typography and design, his aesthetic is precise and minimalistic, yet vibrant and rich in contrast—both visually and acoustically.

His recent fulldome films and installations have been featured at events such as Luminale Frankfurt, FDF Jena, B-Seite Mannheim, Plaisirs d’Hiver Brussels, Lab30 Augsburg, FIVARS Los Angeles, Macon (USA), Motusdome Taiwan, Gate22 Toulouse, and Porto/Post/Doc in Portugal.

His work has earned prestigious accolades, including awards from the Type Directors Club New York, the Red Dot Award, and the Corporate Design Prize. Most recently, he received the Janus Award for Best Art and Experimental Fulldome Film, as well as the Special Jury Selection Award at the Fulldome UK Festival.
