4 minutes

Based on true events, we see the British and German troops take to no man’s land in a historical recreation of the 24th – 26th December 1914.

Based on historically accurate events with regards to letters sent home by British and French soldiers, Humanity is the story of the Christmas Truce of 1914. Over three days, from the Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, we see the events take place for truce, and as the soldiers go back to war. All shot in 360, for a truly immersive experience.

Director’s statement:
“When the weather gets tough, the tough get digging!
After our JCB froze in the first ice storm seen by Toronto in 30 years, our dedicated producers continued to dig by hand for two days straight, in temperatures as low as -8.”
