Summary:
William is a virtual reality web series that invites users to take on the role of William, a 12-year-old Canadian aboriginal boy who was taken away from his family and placed in one of the 139 residential schools that existed in Canada for a hundred years, from 1883 to 1996. Each episode deals with a paradigmatic stage in the journey of these children.
From life in an aboriginal community, we move on to abduction by government agents, arrival at the residential school, the classroom, the dormitory and, finally, the return home. The experiences presented in the various episodes of the series can be lived independently or in sequential order to form a single dramatic experience.
