Summary:
Mathias, a troubled traveling salesman, attempts to piece together his time on an island that may be connected to his childhood. When a young woman’s body is found, suspicion turns to Mathias, despite the fact that other island residents also wanted him to leave. As viewers, we are thrust into the perspective of this unstable character, experiencing a psychological journey teetering on the edge of insanity.
Director Bio:
Fabrice’s academic journey took him from Rennes to Brest, where he honed his skills in imagery, filmmaking, and emerging technologies. He later relocated to Saarbrücken, Germany, to lead the audiovisual unit at the Institut Français. Eventually, he moved to Paris and joined the Thema unit at Arte.
Over the years, Fabrice contributed to various sets and documentaries for France Télévisions and Arte. In 2000, he founded Trois Fois Plus, where he produced and directed “Court-circuit,” a short-film magazine for Arte, until 2016. He also directed the documentary “La Paix à Tricycle” and developed interactive applications.
Between 2012 and 2015, Fabrice collaborated with Kinofabrik to offer filmmaking workshops for enthusiasts of all ages. In 2017, he shifted his focus back to writing and directing, relocating to Bretagne to establish KinoLabo, a platform aimed at fostering innovative projects. Since then, he has primarily focused on writing and directing in the audiovisual sphere.
